The Church of Christ the King is part of the CSI Diocese of Madras and also associated with CSI St. Marks Church, Madipakkam. The Church is currently headed by Rev. D. Paul William and supports five fellowships which actively involve in all the activities. The Pastorate Committee along with the pastor work for the development of the Church.
The Church of Christ the King was opened on May 1, 1990. The foundation was laid and the small hut church was dedicated in November 1988 by the Bishop Dr. Sundar Clarke. Then, the New Church Building and Tower was constructed and dedicated officially on May 1, 1990 by Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Azariah. The Laying Stone for Parsonage and Sexton Quarters was laid on November 1997 and the same was dedicated during January 24, 1999. Since then, by the grace of Lord and the continous contribution of our members, the Church has developed.
